PhoenixSuite’s Mobile app for appraisers pairs with ACI software to increase efficiency
PALM COAST, Fla. — May 15, 2012 — ACI announced today a new agreement that will allow ACI appraisers to leverage mobile appraisal technology for both the iPad and iPhone from PhoenixSuite. Through this collaboration, ACI2010 users have the ability to collect and transmit inspection data in the field directly into appraisal reports prepared using ACI’s software. ACI is a leading provider of real estate appraisal software and innovator in valuation technology for the mortgage industry.
"We’ve been monitoring appraisers’ attitudes carefully and believe they are prime to adopt mobile technologies," said George Opelka, senior vice president of ACI. "Going mobile with these tools enables appraisers to be more efficient and increase bandwidth for new business. A tight integration with ACI’s software makes it easy for appraisers to import field data and still navigate the new rules imposed by the GSEs [Government-Sponsored Enterprises], allowing them to produce better results in less time."
PhoenixSuite’s mobile appraiser tools will integrate seamlessly with ACI’s software and will support several appraisal forms compliant with the UAD (Uniform Appraisal Dataset). Other tools provided include mapping, sketching, photo imaging, and appointment management. In addition, floor plans created on the iPad or iPhone with PhoenixSuite open seamlessly in ACI Sketch.
"We’re thrilled to work with a technology leader the caliber of ACI to make appraisers more effective in the field," said Steven Wright, president of PhoenixSuite. "Production efficiencies are key to growing an appraisal business in this environment. By offering an integrated mobile solution with the ACI2010 real estate appraisal software, we can positively impact the thousands of appraisers nationwide."
