Enhanced Usability: UAD Field Data Entry & Picklists

ACI2010™ now provides the option for Direct Data Entry into any UAD field. With this update, the UAD dialog and guidance window is easily configured for either "on-demand" or "automatic" access. In addition, you can also use your own Common Responses for UAD fields (Picklist). And the number one received request: the use of the = command to copy comp data across the grid now works for all UAD forms.

UAD Options: Standard Mode & Helper Mode

To set your UAD default options, launch ACI Report and select Options > Environment > UAD Options. Choose Standard Mode if you want to key data directly into the UAD field. You still have the option to launch the UAD dialog box by clicking on the green arrow in the UAD field. Choose Helper Mode if you want the UAD dialog and guidance window to open up each time you enter a UAD field.

Power User Tip: If you are in a UAD field, CTRL-H will launch the UAD dialog box. CTRL-Enter will save and close the UAD dialog box.
